Plan for a big purchase
🎯 Goal: Know how to plan: pick the item, know the price, compute weekly amount and time, track until you can buy it.
To buy an expensive item (a bike, a player), make a plan: the price, how much to save weekly, how long until enough.
Let’s explore
🎯
Step 1: pick the item and know the exact price.
🧮
Step 2: Weeks = Price ÷ amount saved per week.
📈
Step 3: track progress and persist until enough.
Practice activity
🚲 A bike costs 1,200,000d, save 100,000d/week — how many weeks?
Worked example: A bike is 1,200,000d, save 100,000d/week → 1,200,000 ÷ 100,000 = 12 weeks. You draw a 12-week plan and fill progress weekly.
