Cash, card, and QR

🎯 Goal: Understand you can pay with cash or card/QR — both are paying real money.
When buying, grown-ups may hand over cash, tap a card, or scan a QR with a phone. All are ways to pay.

Let’s explore

💵
Cash is paper money/coins you hold and hand to the seller.
💳
Card / QR pays via a bank card or phone — real money is still taken from the account.
⚠️
Cashless is very fast, so grown-ups must watch out not to overspend.

Practice activity

👀 Next time shopping, notice how your parents pay: cash or QR?
Worked example: At a shop, Mom scans a QR with her phone instead of handing cash. You ask: “So real money is still taken?” — “Yes, just a different way to pay.”
