Bargaining when shopping

🎯 Goal: Know how to bargain politely where allowed (markets), ask for a discount kindly, and know when to stop.
At markets or small shops, buyers can bargain. Ask politely, offer reasonably, and stay friendly either way.

Ask politely: “Could you lower it a little?” instead of demanding.

Offer a reasonable amount, not so low it upsets the seller.

Not everywhere allows bargaining (supermarkets have fixed prices).

Practice activity

🎭 Role-play buying veggies at a market and bargain politely with a parent.
Worked example: A bunch of veggies is 15,000d. You ask: “Could you make it 12,000d?”. The seller agrees on 13,000d. You thank her happily — saving money and being polite.
