Risk, return & diversification

🎯 Goal: Understand high return comes with high risk, and not putting all eggs in one basket.
You grasp that high return comes with high risk, and how to diversify (not all eggs in one basket). Anyone promising "high return, guaranteed no loss" is usually a scam.

Let’s explore

⚖️
Rule #1: the higher the return, the higher the risk. Anyone promising “high return with no chance of loss” is usually a scam.
🧺
Diversify: do not put all money in one place, so if one loses, others cushion it.
🛡️
Before investing, have an emergency fund and only use money you can afford to lose.

Practice activity

🧠 Someone offers “30%/month, guaranteed”. What should you do?
Worked example: Someone says: “Put in 10 million, 30%/month, guaranteed no loss.” You think: that return is impossible and “guaranteed” is a scam sign. You decline and do not hand over money.
